52 weeks of colour; Green

Wow. Christmas has been and gone and now it is new years. Time sure flies.

I've had to put SL on the side for a little while; (blame the steam sale...partly). I've been doing lots of other things and I have tons of essays due in for next week!! (*slaps her own wrists for not doing them)

So, this is last saturdays week of colour, green! I picked up this amazing jacket at the dressing room...so I went for an army theme!

Also, I've been loving this hair since I first saw it; it's from Action (lasts weeks new item). I feel so bad that I've only just got around to blogging about it.

I'm wearing the 'sucide' hair from the collection; which, to be honest... if you're going to buy hair from action this one will give you the most options! I really love the way Monroe does her streaks! And the bow on the side? CUUUUTE!

My pc is still playing up, so it's a super quick picture! I really hope I can get it fixxed in the new year!

Merry christmas everyone. I hope you all had a great day!

Mine was filled with laughter, fun and playing with 8 children. I enjoyed it sooo much. I love all my presents (so much I actually cried). I'm about to go to bed, but I quickly logged into SL to see what the grid had to offer.

Christmas Gowns

Rag-Dollz has sent out this beautiful victorian style gown for their members. I think it is utterly stunning!

Another dress which I feel I can wear at Christmas and other times in the year (There is a time and a place for prim fur! And that is only christmas!!).

On a side note; I won't be posting tomorrow and I may not post Christmas eve. I'm going back home for a few days! Spending some time with my fav little girl! (AKA My 8 yr old sister!).

What has really impressed me this time round is that you can choose the colour of the logo on the side. As stated before I'm not that into gold... so being able to have it silver meant a lot to me!

I'm having a few SL rezzing issues today! Things arnt rezzing correctly *headdesk*.

Christmas dresses!

It's getting closer to christmas! I finally finished my shopping today; just had to pick up a few silly little things for people.

So near christmas I'm normally invited to lots of work do's (which means posh frocks and lots of wine! - and tons of carols!). Anyway, I love looking and feeling like a princess, so beautiful christmas dresses always make me smile.

Well, this beautiful dress is free from A*S. I really adore the texure on the skirt; it looks so realistic! Plus the ruffles on the bottom of the skirt are really well made!. It's called 'Wine Red' so perfect for christmas!

So bring on the christmas parties!

Fab.Pony is having a 50% winter sale right now on everything that is black! Yummy!

When I wear black (which honestly is not that often) I like to add some colour to things! In this case, I've used this amazing skin from: Not Buttons (It's free! - just join the group.). It's one of many of her group gifties! So worth a pop down there.

52 weeks of colour and a pretty dress!

It is now week 7 of the colour challenge! And it's a shade of one of my favourite colours; Pink. This one was by far the easiest! As soon as I saw this dress in the Sucker for Hunts hunt I knew it'd be perfect!

The shop is simply called 'Freianys' and is no.40 in the hunt. So this is my take on the colour Cerise; I wanted to do something cute and romantic!

So, ever since I found this store (The Whore Mansion) I've LOVED! it. The items are so sexy and very colourful. Which to me equals a win win!

I love these! They come in all sorts of colours and patterns




It's such an amazing store; I just hope when my pc is back up and running I can really show off the clothes and write a lot more about them.

I'm sorry the quality of my pictures are really bad at the moment. Until I get a graphics card/new mother board I'm stuffed! I'm taking pictures using my friends pc at the moment; but even his pc keeps crashing with sl. I'm having all the luck at the moment!

Snow

Another non item blog I'm afraid. But, just wanted to say the pc is not accepting the graphics card at the moment, which means I may need a new motherboard! WOO! [/sarcasm]

Anyway, if you know anything about the weather in england... you'd know it's snowing here. I have been stuck in traffic for over 10 hours today. finally home. But so tired.

You know how much I love shoes...

I started doing yet another hunt; The Sucker for hunts! It's quite a good hunt; I just keep getting side tracked with the stores! Most of them I've never come across.

Now, one of the early stores is a shoe store (Fada Bebe); and you all know how much I adore shoes. Anyway, I asked the owner very nicely and she sent me a pair to review and try out.

Firstly; I had a slight little hiccup with the hud. BUT! That was fully my fault; it's a beautiful little symbol that pops up in the top middle of your screen; I was expecting something big and bulky (which seems to be a common trend).

Anyway, once I realised I was being blonde I got all the lovely options to change skin colour, nail colour ect! Changing the skin colour was so easy! I swear; I've had so much trouble with really expensive shoes (I won't name names...) and these ones were just...simple!

These are the free shoes from the Sucker for hunts. I really love the zebra print and the style of the shoe!

So, the denim texure on these are lush! And the cute little toesies peeping out?! Keeeyoooot! I would love to see more studds draping over the shoe; but then, I'm just stud mad!

I wish I had longer to try them out; and I wish I could have made some outfits to go with the shoes. I'm SO annoyed right now about my pc.

But, please go check out the Sucker For hunts, hunt and Fada Bebe, her shoes are very affordable! And she has a wide range to choose from.

I swear, this thing hates me at the moment. I just hope it does not die just yet..I have essays due in this week! I can't afford for my pc to die with all my uni work on it!! I've found out it is my graphics driver, so it's not a huuuuge problem; luckily I have another pc in the house! Not my pc... but I may be able to sneak on it for a little while to take pictures and what not.

I know the quality of my pictures arnt amazing, but they are normally better than this! So bare with!

I have some items from another great store to review, so I really hope I can do that tomorrow or something.

Broken -_-

So, I was having issues with blue screening yesterday...and now my pc will not turn on at all.

I'm using my net book at the moment; so I can't even log onto secondlife.

My pc man is on the floor at the moment trying to fix it for me, but...if he can't fix it. Well, I'm basically fucked.

More worried about my uni work at the moment; so I hope I can at least rescue that!

Hopefully, I'm being over dramatic and it's something silly, like a driver or the graphics card. But if it's worst... I won't be able to buy a new pc till Jan when my student loan comes through.

52 weeks of colour; yellow.

Mmm lovely warm yellow. Even though it is very cliche'd yellow does make me think of the sun! (and the lack of it in my life at the moment - damn English weather).

So, both the make-up and the dress is by a store which is new to me! What made me go there was the name (No, I was not searching dirty things in the search bar). I was quite impressed by the quality and selection there. Plus, the make-ups...wow. 50L each but they are so bright and colourful; they really jazz up an outfit.

Also, I am slightly saddened today; the store which the leggings are from (part of an outfit) has sadly left the grid. I have some amazing items from that store and never realised it had closed down; makes you sad when that happens.

Colour Challenge; Sepia

I'm so glad we have a week to shop for this challenge! This week and last week has been annoying! But, I think I've done it!

I'm still loving autumny looks; even though my brain is telling me it is now winter. England has had tons of snow and therefore to me; snow = winter. We don't often get snow in November/December here! It's been hectic.

Anyway, back to the challenge. I've not been doing freebie looks for my challenges; I love to have a bit of diversity in fashion. So while freebies are all well and good, I love to show off designers hard work! If you can buy Lindens.. do. Show these designers you love their stuff!!

Last Christmas...I gave you my heart: Fishy Strawberry gift

This is going to be blogged to hell, so I thought I'll give my view on it as well :P Yes yes, I know yesterday I said I don't like annoying cliche red for xmas items... but, this one is super keeeyooot!!

My love for Fishy Strawberry started back when I was a wee newb. I loved looking different and Fae has always stuck to that! And thats why I love her! :P

It is such a beautiful red dress with matching fur collar. Along with this Fae has added some cute hair clips to the outfit which adds that little Christmas touch!

Urban skater!

Actions new items this week are LUSH! Seriously. She's created some amazing ensembles priced at 1000L; each includes her sexy new hair (well hair from last week, still new aye?)

If you don't know about Action, where have you been?! It was one of the first stores on SL that I spent my money in! So it's great that it's still going and still bringing out ah-maaazing fashion. It's very urban, skater/surf wear. Perfect for chilling out in the town!

I love the fact this outfit has one of the first skirts I brought on SL! (two years ago) I think this just shows how amazing the quality of her items are. Also, the wellies! How god damn cute are they?! I just want to go splashing in puddles now.

Of course, I could not have any bad comments towards this outfit...it has the colour PINK in! And we all know how much I love pink!

52 weeks of colour; plum!

Entering the fourth week of the colour challenge now; having more and more fun each week! This week I really did not want to go and buy any more items so I had a good look through my inventory to see what I could find!

I came up with three to four outfits, each with different items, different styles... but no matter what I did I could not find an outfit that I honestly loved! It was not the lacking of purple/plum items in my inventory that caused the problems; it was the matching!

I tried so many different styles; pure plum, green and plum, patterned with plum, floral plum...you name it I tried it with plum! Sooo I gave in; and instead of going for a dark plum look...I added yellow :D Then, as soon as I added yellow I started listening to happy music (see the bottom of the post).

And ended up with:
