New at Fishy Strawberry,

So, I felt like stepping away from the freebies today to do a post about a store close to my heart! I've not been able to buy anything from Fishy Strawberry reccently; but I went to the store today and picked up lots of her new items. My love for Fishy Strawberry started when I was a little newbie , and I suppose it's just grown.

These new dresses are playful and very colourful! Which is one of the main things I adore about the Summer; all the wonderful colours.

So basically, in this post, I just want to highlight the fact that freebie shopping is awesome and what not, but sometimes, you do need to pay designers, as the often come out with pretty amazing items.

Oh my, more shoes!

A girl has to have lots of shoes! So I'm glad there is another beautiful freebie pair floating around the grid. These pink gem shoes are a group gift from JustB. Sparkly and pink; my favourite two things!

The weather is awful now, it's been thundering and everything. Bye bye Summer =[ I've not done much in rl today, so spent most of my time on sl!

I'm glad though, I got wind of this... beautiful gladiator shoes! Gosh, I squealed when I saw them...and their price.

I've basically based this look on an outfit I wear in rl. The lace top is from Y&R and is so similar to my rl one; so I had to nab it! I do however normally wear leggings with the top, but I could not seem to find any cool leggings in my inventory, so I've used this cool jeans from Indrya Designs.

I'm really loving this song by Selena Gomez! I believe her album comes out today. My little sister got me into her as I had to put some of Selena's songs on her mp3 player, I always thought she was quite the brat in The Wizards of Waverly place, but, I love her in Princess Protection!

Can you feel the 80's vibe?

This dress is a little weird; which is why I've created an avi with it xD It's from Arata Shouten and is one of their 10 min camp items! I camped for it while trying my lucky on the lucky boards; there is a beautiful pink hair which I really like; no luck yet! I did however get this skin and shape free on the board instead.

I've teamed it up with some old hair I got from ::69:: ages ago. However, it is now in their outlet store for 200L (whole colour packs).

A little bit of free-ness

So, this is just a quickie post really. Until June 26th, a really cute little store called Towa has and great big sale on! All items are discounted, with some at 39L and others at 0L. I picked up some really cute items and had a chat with the designer of the store; who is so sweet!

• Clothes are all 50% off, with some free. Some prices available 39L
  
• 50% off all other items (with some free.)

The reason for this, is that the store is having a renewal, so I believe she wants to move old stock before she brings new stock in.

Anyway, her items are so adorable, I picked up lots of dresses (My poor inventory is creeping back up again).

It's a nice day for a white wedding.

I've been quite lucky with lucky chairs/boards reccently; they've not taken too long to switch to F. Which, I must say, is rare! Normally I'm standing there for ages. Anywho, on my travels I came across this beautiful wedding dress on the lucky boards at Ribbon.

It's very simple; which is what I like in a wedding dress.

So now all I need is the Groom....Maybe I should do a Jodie Marsh and wear a tutu and a belt around my breasts and start a reality tv show? I think she found a husband doing that.

On a side note, this is my 100th post; so even though I took a very long break, I'm glad to have reached my first little milestone. Things can only go up aye?

Excuse the bad pun in the title, but I just had to do it! It's all relevant! Would I ever say something that was unrelevant? *shifty eyes*. Anyway, I'm really loving the Sailor look at the moment; seems to be a Summer thing. Last Summer is was very popular over here and I believe it's going to be popular again; it seems the grid loves the style too.

So what better way to spend a horrible, rainy, cold UK day than by stripping down and standing in the sun! .... (I wish! T_T)

It all started with this amazing necklace. I've been looking for a necklace with an anchor on for agggges, but sadly, the ones I found were a little bit out of my budget. So, I was tickled pink when I found this one free from a little shop called 'Kotolier'.

Black Butler Hunt

My friend told me about this awesome hunt happening on the grid! It's called the Black Bulter hunt; you're basically looking for this really cute rabbit! With only 34 stops, this hunt only took me the latter part of my evening. It was 100% worth it, all the items are amazing made. Even though there are no hints on the blog, and some items are very hard to find! However I've found some really cool stores that I'll be stopping by again soon! The starting point is here. I may not wear it with the poofy sleeves, but it's still a really cool item.

Freebies seem a bit slow at the moment, not really coming across much. So, to keep myself amused I've been sorting out my inventory. I've deleted so much rubbish! On 26k now, from so many items I'm ashamed to say xD

Hopefully I can keep this new system up! Lots more to do but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Put that slap on! / DR Who Gift

Every girl knows a little bit of make-up can do wonders! So isn't it lovely that Kozmetica (a whole store of makeup) is having a mini hunt. Dotted around the store are freebies and cheapies from some of the best makeup vendors in secondlife.

The eyeshadow I'm wearing is one of the bits of makeup you can nab!

Another really cool item I got this morning is the Dr Who necklace and is a group gift from LolaPop. Even though it is Tennant and I'm a Matt Smith fan girl, I do adore it!

So, sorry for the short post, but I just wanted to flaunt this amazing Dr Who gift too!

Anyway, back to sorting out my inventory; deleted over 6k of items so far. I'm quite impressed with myself!

I thought it would be best for me to take a bit of a break from The Taste Of Sl hunt and how did I do that? I went on a hunt for Strawberrys instead!

Taste of Sl Hunt

Happy Birthday Taste of Second Life! The hunt turns 1 year old in June and therefore it is being celebrated by having a lovely month long hunt all over the grid. The Taste of SL hunt starts (today!) June 15th and ends July 15th. As always hunts are a lovely way to visit old designers and to discover new ones! The starting point is at Alexohol and the blog is here for all your general hints and needs.

Hello there!

I'm still loving heart*n*soul, so much infact, the lovely ladies sent me a fatpack of hats to review and to show off. Now, honestly, I'm not normally a hat person, buuuut, for days when I want to wear a hat, these are perfect.These hats come in a fat pack for 99L, with 9 different colours. So, a different hat colour for each mood!

I was in a green mood today, so I went for a somewhat colourful outfit. Also, in the outfit I was sent these rather funky 'finger tapes' which are also different colours. Plus, as you can still see, I am wearing the freebie tat's from their store. I've honestly not taken them off, I really think they are cute!

I've been messing with a new style and some new stores; I like the results, but I don't think I'll always be dressing like this! It's rather provocative; I like dressing a bit more conservative. But nevertheless I really enjoyed some of the new stores I found!

Flowery!

It's all grey and cloudy here today, it's my day off and I was woken early, and payday isnt for another 4 weeks... so I felt the need to be cheered up!

This beautiful floral dress is free from Hello World. It's really cheered me up today! I felt like wearing something fun, colourful and summery!

Black is always a safe colour!

The start of this outfit began with a pair of shoes from 7Style, which I re-found after going through my old landmarks. They very much remind me of a pair of shoes Baby Monkey made last year (pumps with socks), but these ones from 7style are completly black, and rather classy. The store says they are free for a week, but I'm honestly not sure how long they've been there! 7style also has many other freebies on the back wall, so it is a store to check out!

So on my travels to find an outfit to match the shoes, I visited many of my favourite stores! The top in this outfit is from Doux Petite Doll, who is still in the process of creating her new store. When I left I knew she was starting it, so it's a shock to see it still not finished! Nevertheless, it looks like a very fun sim and I had lots of fun looking at her cheapies. It's actually part of a dress, but, I felt the skirt from Cupcakes - All that Glitters looked slightly better in this outfit.

Next up was Ganked, I still believe this store has some of the best jewelry in secondlife! So off I popped, not only is there a group gift in store, many items are set to 5L. It seems that it started on the 30th of May, and would only last a week; yet some items are still 5L; so really worth checking out!

The items range from 10% - 99% off, and there are some amazing items on them. So some items are as low as 5L!

Feeling blue!

I'm not really feeling blue; infact, I'm feeling really happy! I've just got home from work and I found this beautiful top from Malt fashions.

I've always loved Malt; infact, I got my first ever freebie outfit there. The styles are amazing and I always want to stress how lovely the items are!

So this is the top! Not fully sure how I really want to wear it at the moment, so I just wore an item from another shop I adore (Fishy Strawberry - Swan Lake Lights - In her discount section).

Get your sneakers on!

This outfit was inspired by these beautiful cheapie shoes I found on Xstreet by CS Design. While not free, at 79L one must not grumble. They have a HUD System to enable colour change and size change.

I was looking around for a pair like this for a while, but did not really want to spend that much on just one pair (I'm a bit tight at the moment!), but these are just amazing!

I love anything Sailor at the moment; so I squealed with dealight when I saw this amazing outfit for free at Gizza Creations.

Along with this outfit there are many many more to choose from! (that are also free).

I did however take the belt off and used my own. I just felt a chunky belt looked better! My only wish is that the top and shorts were seperate, as I adore high waist items! But hey, it's free I must not grumble.

I'm baaaack

Heya all!

After four months of not being on SL I've decided to come back. From my last post you can see why I quit; it's been a horrible few months. But, I'm now off uni and what not, so I should be able to chill and fully recover!

So, as I've had a break I checked out all my old favorite stores and put together a little outfit:

So, of course my first stop was Truth. Where I picked up this amazing hair!

Because of the bow, I wanted to go for a really cute pink outfit, so, after getting the hair I had a flick through my old pictures to gain some inspiration; and I remembered Whippet and Buck; I really adore a lot of their new fashions so I went on a little spending spree!

Now, even though I love pink; I did not have anything to match the colour of the top, so onto Xstreet I went! I'm glad I did, I found this beautiful set called 'Endless cute outfit' which consists of a top, shorts, shoes and accessories! The shoes, necklace and earrings just went perfectly with the look I wanted to created.

I hope that I will be blogging more regularly, but I need to find my bearings in SL again as most of the old freebie haunts have sadly left the grid! But stay with me, I shall have some amazing looks coming in the next few weeks.
