Canimal is leaving - sale

So having known this for a while, I checked her blog again and saw that the owner of Canimal has set everything to 50L or under! If you've ever wanted anything from her store now is a great time to go and get it; it'll all be gone next week (I'm a week later blogging about this sorry!)

As said everything is 50L or under; which means there are items there which are 0L and even 10L so it's worth checking out whatever your budget!

She's had a well known presence on secondlife and while her items are old, as she says in her own words: " it may not be the newest fashions but it's still a hell of a lot better then a LOT of the shit that's out there."

Her clothes are...scene kid-ey but quite goth too; all lovely designs! I personally went for a colourful harajuki girl look!

I had a lot of fun!

ok! So I know I'm totally behind with hunts (And I said I'd never do a hunt again...) but here are some of the amazing items from the With love from... hunt! Each item costs 10L, so if you don't want to spend too much money keep your eyes on the feeds and just pick out the items you actually want! :) A few of the items were in tricky places; but overall an easy and enjoyable hunt!

I'm not going to show all items; some I can't show because I don't have the land (AKA skyboxes) and some of them just... did not fit me! And I'm not even going to try.

I only have one little....critism of the hunt; a lot of the items were not out when I did the hunt today; BUT! this happens in all hunts and can not be avoided. I'll just go back and check those stores later in the week! Thankfully, there is a hint sheet, so you can just hop to the next store easily enough.

I had mixed feelings with the gold colour challenge; while I love all colours I often feel gold can sometimes look tacky and cheap. I wanted to stay away from that image but still keep to the gold theme. I tried out a few different looks, black and gold, and red and gold... but I really like this full gold look! I hope it is not too tacky!

I have come to love this outfit! I'm ready to go out and parrrrtay!

I just hope I meet more amazing people and the good times keep a rolling ;-)

Drool-worthy

So, after my rather short post; I'm very sorry for that. I want to tell you about an amazing deal from Badoura Design.

Ever brought something that shared your name? I can say that I now have. When I was growing up all my friends had 'normal' names and therefore had pencil cases, key rings ect ect with their names on. But, sadly.. Finding something named Francesca has always been a bit difficult. So thank you Truth for bringing out a hair named Francesca, it really made my day when I saw it! And! you spelt it correctly; most people put a H in it; Franchesca; and I think it looks better with one big F then all the other letters are tiny! :D Buuut I digress again! (habbit of doing that.)

It seems that Cupcakes has opened a mini outlet. Here, clothes and skins are set at 25L or under! What a steal!

Here are three outfits from this store all which are either; free, 15L or free! The skins are all 25L; which is a total bargin.

Sorry this is a short/quick post. Just wanted to let you all know about this amazing deal! I just really love cupcakes, and the owners are just so... lovely to their customers and always showers their groupies with gifts.

Colour blogger challenge

Slightly behind with this challenge; it looks fun so I thought I'd try it. If you've not heard about it you can read the post here . So to catch up ( the new colour starts tomorrow! .. well I think it does). So I'm going to post the first two weeks together! (Seems I'm not the only one who is doing that as well).

Firstly Grey;

Hm, not a happy colour really is it? When someone mentions grey I think of London...well England in general. Most of our buildings are grey and the sky... well, let's not go there.

It's quite a simple colour, so thats why I've chosen a very simplistic outfit :)

The amaaaaazing silk hunt.

I don't often blog about hunts.. but! I liked the sound of this one. My friend was wearing this stunning dress, so.. ofc I had to ask where it was from! And she told me all about this hunt...So I had to do it!

This is the dress that caught my attention:

You get a complete avatar (skin not shown, I prefer this one from Gauze. Had it for a while :) ). Plus you can make so many different outfits with the items given to you. However, it was VERY hard to find. I had to even ask in the group (rest of the hunt was fine, a few GRR moments); now, I know it's a wonderful design and that we should not be handed everything on a plate, but the hint for this one... did not actually match where it was. It was very well hidden... too well hidden. (I think I need a hunt buddy! My old hunt buddy is never on anymore!)

But, I forgive the designer because I love the outfit! But I won't be doing any more hunts for a very long time!

There are items for everyone in this hunt, clothes for both sexes, skyboxes, armour, furniture...I've only just started to open up my boxes/try things on; I just really wanted to show this one off!

All that glitters...

With no experience in creating outfits for second life, I really admire those who do. What I admire even more are those amazing talented designers who are able to make beautiful metallic and glittery dresses! I adore glitter; but sadly every time I wear body glitter now I get accused of being a 'twilight vampire'. But I digress; I'm very lucky to have been sent these amazing items by Badoura. These glittery dresses are perfect for a night on the town; it's not just my smile that is dazzling! ;-)

I have mentioned Badoura Designs before, (see here) which is what really sparked my interest for her fashions. They are all really well made (including her freebies) so it's a shop worth looking around!

This has to be my favourite. It's very versatile and matches perfectly with my new clutch bag. The fur shawl was also sent to me; it can really dress up an oufit. Yet, it can be worn with jeans and a tee; just for extra warmth. Thankfully, no animals were harmed when making this :D

Much like the silver version of the dress, I found this one to be just as versatile. Even though it's black (some textures don't often show up well); this dress is stunning.

If you like these dresses but don't want to pay the price tag, she offers this sassy teal little number for only 1L


I've teamed this up with the grey version of the shawl I was also sent; which I can see me wearing with a lot of outfits; I love cold colours.... must be a living in England thing!

Last, but certainly not least is this sassy little number:

Feeling Ticky Tacky

I managed to get a few mins to myself (thats turned into about 2 hours...). So, I logged onto to sl and read through all my note cards quickly and it seems it is very busy at ticky tacky at the moment!! I really should not be on, I over slept (naughty me) and I've not finished sorting out the room...AND I have lots of uni work to do. Never done this before; but I think I may have to do an allnighter! (pfft I say that, but I won't)

Friday already?

Gosh, I've been so busy in real reccently. Got essays coming out of my ears! Plus I've not really found anything to really blog about. Sims 3 has also found it's way into my heart again! but I've prized myself off it to see what the lovely world of SL has to offer.

Quite glad I did honestly; Pink outtfitters is having a 50L sale. Something to do with someones birthday..... (Yeah I did not pay attention to the note card, I honestly just saw 'sale'). Plus on a side note; thanks to a certain Miss Lorrainne Vaniva (*grumpy face*) I got a rather excited IM that Cupcakes is having a 100L sale till 6pm SLT today (12/11/2010). So lots of lindens gone. I have a huge fetish for the embrace skinline...I think it was made for my face ;-)

I'll be blogging again next week. Things are honestly quite bad in rl atm, not just essays... relationship problems.

Getting visual

The lovely Kiba Tachikawa got in touch with me about his store Actuate Eden; a rather funky Visual Kei store. He sent me some of his stuff to have a looksie at and to show you all. I really really love Japanese fashion; be it; ganguro, Harajuku, lolita...ect. So I was really happy to blog about this store!

I'm not showing everything I was sent, but picked the items I loved the most!

I love the sculpt roses on this dress; they are just so beautiful and really well made! I feel like a flower!! I'm not sure where you can wear an outfit like this though.. I felt at home in a field of flowers.. but in a club... well I think I'd stand out a little too much for my liking!

The outfit also comes in purple, pink, grey and red! Which are equally as beautiful.

So, on the subject of roses, I was also sent these... stunning.. rose face masks (99L each). I've only shown four colours here; there are many more! I love how the little chains drape down the face. These can go with anything! So expect a lot more!

This suit is rather funky, it really makes you stand out. I felt like...a mixture of the mad hatter and the child catcher which I'm not 100% sure is a good thing! ;-) All I need now is a pimp cane! ; Buuut, on a serious note, it's funkeh! And I really loved walking around in it! It also comes with a matching belt; but... me and prims don't go too well. So I had trouble fitting it!

So, yeah, I hope you have a look at the store; Actuate Eden because they are some beautiful items there!

While doing this blog post I had a flick through my songs and I came across a band that I used to always listen to. An Cafe; I believe they are Visual Kei (I just had a Jrock phase when I was 16! But I know how touchy people are about genres.). Anyway! this is one of my favourite songs by them. I love Bou! (the one with the blonde hair!)
